hi to all ccs-coders out there,
is it me or is it a bug? I am not able to do any custom events (like
before_show) on pages, which are includable...
I have structured my project this way:
- the mainpage index.php is called with "action=something"
- every page I want to show is put as "include page" on index.php
- I have an "page_before_show" custom event to enable the included pages, using
the case-switch ("case action=xy: $inc_xy->Enabled=true;")
- everything works fine, except I try to put an custom event on any included
page (for example to change a label or validate an email)
thanx for any help

I am using CCS 1.07 on Win98SE for PHP (4.2) /w templates and MySQL 3.23 on
Linux (SME-Server V. 5.5, RedHat based).

Yes,
Same here. I've established that events work on the page when it isn't
includable. Make the same page includable, and the events fail.
I had a go at tracing the code (comparing the code between
includable/non-includable page) There are differences - some of the binding
of events code doesn't appear in the code file when the page is made
includable (don't recall exact details). I tried reinstating some of the
missing code in the includable version, but had no luck.
Anyone mentioned this to Yes support?
Rgds

Hi Andrew,
not yet, had been offline for 2 days cause my Mozilla profile (> 350 mb)
crashed - never had this before ;)
I am going to report the "include-bug" to yes today and keep you
informed - regards
Tobias

Yes, Yes Addressed this. That felt good to say<G>
I am using 2.06xx and have an include page that I use as a dynamic menu with
several grids on it. I have all kinds of event code in it. It works great.
