All my CCS apps "hang" when attempting to run. Bug in Beta2?

Environment:

CCS2 beta 2
Win2K SP3
SQL Server 2000
IE 6.0

I logged the following report with Yes:

This is a recurring and reproduceable problem. After a system shutdown, on
reboot I cannot go to "live page" on any page even though they worked
perfectly before shutting down.

I just determined that a "repair" of CCS corrects the problem.

I have gone through many, many instances of shutting down IIS, IE, SQL
Server processes and restarting them. I have determined that asp pages NOT
created with CCS are always viewable when the CCS asp pages are not.

Behavior: Open any asp page in CCS and click "globe" button or "Live Page"
tab. Browser window show hourglass and blank, white, page is visible
(actual page has a background color and this is not displayed)

There is no security defined for this application (CCS security). IIS
access is "anonymous".

Attempting to run the page directly from IE without having CCS IDE open
gives the same "hang" behavior.

Rebooting the PC does not help. Only a repair (no reboot) "fixes" the
problem (until the next shutdown and reboot when it returns).

Hi Don,

I have a similar environment except for development I am using WinXP Pro. I
don't have a problem using either IIS5.1 (on XP) or IIS5 on Win2k Server
(SP3).

Before I installed Beta 2 I did uninstall Beta 1, rebooted and installed
Beta2.

Sorry I could help more,

Hello,
I have the exact same problem with my CCS licenced version. I have WinXP
Pro, IIS 5 and all the other ASP applications NOT created with CodeCharge
are just working fine. Code Charge applications are on the other hand just
hangs. I did not try to "repair" CCS but will try. Still, I need to find a
solution to this problem.

I didn't have any beta or any other version of Code Charge installed on my
computer previously.

I will appreciate any help.

It turns out for me this was due to getting a newer version of antivirus
software. It added "script blocking" which is the source of the problem -
the script in your app gets blocked (halted).

So you have to turn off this feature. Then your apps work fine.

Puzzling, because from where it is occurring it sure seems like this is =
script-blocking. If not your A/V then maybe it's a policy setting? I'm =
assuming Windows NT or 2000. I don't know for sure if there is a policy =
that controls this, but I don't know what else to suggest.
