I just got the demo of this program and it looks great. I finally got a
sample project login page to work but every time I bring up the login page
it contains my "cached" username and password. This is not a good way of
providing security...

I had this before.
My mistake was that I have linked input fields with data from the table
which was wrong !
Use login wizard and see how it is done properly then copy settings to your
form.
