I am a Dreamweaver MX user and use the PHP/MySQL server model. I am
interested in using Code Charge to generate an pages for Web
applications that are database driven and then use CCS to add additional
functionality. Finally, I'd like to be able to open the same pages up in
DWMX and do any additional work that remains. So, the question is, is
the this possible? Are the PHP recordsets that CC generates compatible
with those used in DWMX?

In a nut shell: NO. CCS is based on Classes; DWMX is not based on classes.
If your using PHP/Templates with CCS all PHP code is in php files and all
HTML code is in HTML files, CCS PHP reads the HTML files replacing tags with
data.
I use CCS to create the frame work and DWMX+Topstyle to tweak. CCS takes
care of security and session state and DWMX handles DIV and layers with
Topstyle taking care of Stylesheets
It would be good if CCS was integrated with DWMX instead of FrontPain but I
don't get to make those calls, I'm still trying to convince CCS to change
how they handle Stylesheets.

i also work this way; dwmx for the design work, some slits of table's CCS
does not perform

agreed, somewhere in the mind at YES this must be slumbering.
why otherwise KONRAD(c.q. yes) registered DREAMWEAVERMXCODECHARGE.COM

biggest fear to me is that the product is bought
by ms and integrated in Fpain.

I totally agree. It looks like Yes wants users to use CCS for all Web
design. This is noble. But, I don't have faith that they won't sell to
MS. I don't want to learn a new product to find it canceled by the
buying company. I don't want to waste my time. Yes doesn't seem to get
this. Instead, they want me to commit to the studio product. I want to
use a code generator that generators code that I can then use with
Dreamweaver MX. If their studio product ends up being a better product
than Dreamweaver MX then I would use it. I know I am not the only one
that thinks this way. Thousands of Dreamweaver MX users would use a code
generator that generates code for Dreamweaver MX. I think Yes totally
missed the boat. It is too bad. I have been watching this product for a
long time hoping that they wouldn't. Their argument about Dreamweaver
creating code that locks you into staying with Dreamweaver MX is pretty
mute to most Dreamweaver MX users. They have already accepted that and
don't mind at all. They are happy to be using Dreamweaver and have no
intention of changing. It looks like Yes has focussed on FrontPage
instead making them almost look like they want MS to buy them out. It is
too bad they took that path. Perception is everything to the consumer
regardless of their ignorance.
