Opinions desired! Is it best to remove CCS 1 and then reinstall CCS 2, or
should I just do an upgrade? Looking for the best path to follow
upgrade/repair/clean install...

Definitely uninstall CCS1,then install CCS2 fresh. Also,make sure that you
back up all of your projects beforehand. I haven't had any problems, wither
way, however.
