STARTING OVER ..... trying to get sample solution to work

OK .... after my last attempts, I've started CodeCharge Studio again from
scratch and attempted to generate and then use the sample solution "Employee
Directory".

I *now* get the following errors on the Default.php page:-

Database error: cannot use database employees
MySQL Error: 1049 (Unknown database 'employees')
Session halted.

Well .. I had assumed that CodeCharge would generate the database as well as
the PHP code!

SO ... what configuration of the "settings" etc. do I need to do to get this
sample solution to work?
AND... how do I generate the database tables, views, indexes etc.?

The sample solution comes with an assumed link to an "Intranet" MS Access
database. I do have MS Access (in OfficeXP) installed, though whether
CodeCharge is connecting to MS Access or not I have no idea ..... how would
I find out??? Likewise, if it's generating an MS Access database, then
*where*???? How would I find that out????

My environment is: WinXP, Apache [local] web server, PHP (already tested)
and MySQL (tested via MySQL Control Center), plus CodeCharge Studio 2.0.5.6,
and the MyODBC driver installed and connecting ok [via the test button].

Anybody have a idea what I need to do to get the database for this sample
solution?

TIA

Richard

There is some good documentation that will walk you through the steps of how
to create a sample application. Click on the following link to view it:
http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/. Select Quick Start Tutorials (it is in
PDF format). If you are going to use the sample databases Internet/Intranet
you will need to create an odbc connection that points to their location. If
you wish to use other databases the sql to build the samples is located
here->C:\Program Files\CodeChargeStudio\Examples\. Look in the Intranet or
Internet directories and pick your flavor of sql (MSSql, Mysql, Oracle,
Progress). Spend half an hour with the tutorials and you'll be up to speed
pretty quick. Hope this helps.

Richard

CCS has the mysql files included in the example pack --
Internet_MySQL.sql and Intranet_MySQL.sql
Do you have phpMyadmin installed - if so you can just load the
sql files.
