Any button of the toolbox always creates grid

I am new to CCS using the actual version 2.0.6.11 (patched) within
Trial-Mode.
Goin through the tutorial one of the first steps is to create a label in
"HelloWorld"-App. But when I push the Label-Button within the forms-window
it creates a grid. The same happens with all the other buttons.
Who can help ? What's going on there ? Bug ?

I have the behaviour on two different PCs in my company; one running under
the most recent Windows XP and one with W2K Prof.
