Hi,

I am using "Custom Code" in the "Before Show" for a form called
"directory_requests" to hide and show a (check box). Hopefully many other
controls if I can get this to work.
The Data Source for the form is the table "directory_requests". The data
shown with the checkbox is fetched from the table "UserObjects" So the
"UserObject" is defined in the forms asp code.
I would like to check the table "UserObject" and the datafield
"u_fax_number"
to see if it's empty or not. If it is empty I will like to hide the
checkbox.

How do I check if the datafield is empty ?

(Custom code are running in a seperate include-file than the form but the
"UserObject is defined in the asp file for the form)
Do I have to create a new database connection object (since it is running in
a seperate include file), or how do I write the code to check if the
datafield "u_fax_number" in the table "UserObject" is empty or not ?

I have tried the CCGetParam(ParameterName, DefaultValue) function, but I
don't seem to get it right.

Regards,
Rudi
