I am having trouble making a dependant text box. I have tried what they
show on support.codecharge, but didn't have any luck getting it to work.
I am using access and asp
What I am trying to do:
I have a list box, then another list box, and the combination of the two
should fill in the text box.
It may also be that I have a mistake in the database?? Here is what I have:
List box 1: table name,
consists of: table_name_id
table_name
List box 2: table item number - there are always 10 items on a table, so
this will have 1-10 listed in the table_item_number.
consists of: table_item_id
table_item_number
I need the text box to show me the inventory ID of the item that is in this
location.
I "think" it should reference a table called "table_contents"
consists of: table_contents_id
table_name_id
table_item_1
table_item_2
table_item_3 ... etc through table_item_10
The table_item_X has the inventory_id listed. I think I have all of the
tables related correctly. Any thoughts? Suggestions or recommendations on
where to look?
