I have a small project completed and would like to bring it into CCS to
continue building on it. I have check the help section for importing files
but didnt find anything. I tried opening each page in CCS to resave but that
did nt seem to work either....any idea's.
Thanks,

CCS generates the entire ASP code file for you. The "source code" in CCS is
the .CCP file. So, you can't just drop your code in - as you have seen.
In order to migrate your code into CCS, you probably will have to do a lot
of work to figure out what events can/should contain your code and fit your
code into the event routines. Odds are, that won't be adequate because your
code will not be structured in the manner CCS structures its code.
You can always "include" functions you have written, so you can reuse them
across several pages. If you are unsure how to do that, look at the CCS
"common files" portion of the Project tree to get the idea. I think there
is a writeup on this in the help, too.

Thanks...I was affraid of this. Guess I have some work to do now. Being new
to ASP and CCS, is this a common issue across ASP development tools. For
example, HTML can be imported into almost all WYSIWYG tools and retain
functionality. Any such tools for ASP

As with any language, the inclusion of code from one developer into that of
another will be a problem. It all comes down to the way each one designs
the ir system. CCS provides classes for the "controls" that implement
grids, etc. You would be wise to create classes and put your functionality
in there. It will be much easier to reuse and integrate elsewhere. Again,
you can look at how CCS makes use of Grid and Record classes to see how to
follow their design pattern.
To further refine my previous comment, the CCP is the source code, but if
you modify the ASP code that CCS generates, it will stay modified (note the
background color of the code pages turn white instead of a pale gray. This
indicates code that has been modified by you. CCS leaves it alone. So you
COULD embed your code, but I don't recommend you do that..
