What is the difference between server events: After Execute Insert & After
Insert? Looking at the manual, the descripts are almost identical.
Thanks

I've not looked at all the languages, but possibly there is today some
rationale with one or another environment. In ASP they would behave
identically, with the AfterExecuteInsert firing immediately before the
AfterInsert with nothing occuring between them. They do, of course, occur
in different classes/objects -datasource and record. The visibility/scope
of variables is potentially a determination of whether you used one or the
other but I have yet to run into a situation where that was relevant.
I supect that the mere symmetry of maintaining Before/After pairs dictated
these two more than usefulness to the developer. In the future there might
be more obvious value to them if the product architecture was to morph.
