I need to define a variable that I can access & use between event
procedures in 1 page. I tried adding the varibale via CCS in the 'After
Initialize' of the page but that didn't seem to do the job. I get an
Undefined Variable when I try & access that variable. How do I get my
global variable into the DEFAULT.ASP page so I can use it in my
DEFAULT_EVENTS.ASP page and it be accessable?

Just declare it right after the "<%" in either ASP file, not within an
event function.

Di I just manually insert this into the DEFAULT.ASP page or the
DEFAULT_EVENTS.ASP page or is there a way to let CCS insert it so it
doesn't get lost if the ASP code is regenerated by CCS.

You "own" all the file space that has a white background. You can do
anything you want outside of the grayed-out parts and CCS will leave them
alone. I've asked Yes about this practice in the past and they told me they
think it's fine. I had strongly resisted the urge to edit the code directly
up until then.
