Hello
Every now and then for no reason I can see my website gives the
following error on to the browser.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Database error: pconnect(bel, web, $DBPassword) failed.
MySQL Error: 0 ()
Session halted
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am using apache2 with mysql 3.23.53.a and php 4.2.2
In codecharge studio in my server connection tab I have the following
Php Database Library:Mysql
Database or odbc connection:ipac
Host:bel
port/socket:Blank
Login:web
Password:*****
Persistent Connection is checked.
Most of the time everything works fine however every few times I go to
my site I get the error message above.
Does anybody have any Idea why this would be happening?
Thanks
Allen Patrick

Not anything like that, that I have ever seen. I am running much more
recent versions of both MySQL (v4.x) and PHP (v4.3.x) - maybe there's
something that's been fixed in the newer releases, and that is causing your
problems?
