Dear CodeChanger....

Thanks for assistance, In relation to the early matter of Connection, in
which you have replied.
I have yet to try the settings you have provided, as at this moment I have
resolved the issue, but I am not sure if this is a bug, but I suggest if can
look into it... BTW. I love the program.... When will a version 2 be
released?

ISSUES:
Connection Problem with Access 2000 on Windows2000 ODBC.

1. CC software, has to be installed on the Windows Server 2000 for it to
connect properly... Is this producted designed to work on a client or
workstation? As working on the server is a plain! I get no "connection"
problems when I use it on the Server, but it would not connect on a
client/workstation, even thou the "test connection" results is okay. I
believe it has something to the automation of the strings.

2. When installing the software, a standard installation causes an error on
a Micrsoft OBDC/OLE issue, but when you installed it using a customised
version and disabling the MS JET 4.0, it all works fine. Strange? I have
tested this on a few installations (removing and reinstallation) and on two
completely different servers, and the connection works great without any
issues if I disable the MS JET 4.0...

Thanks.

CodeCharge is supposed to work anywhere as long as you can connect there
via ODBC or OLE DB. If "test connection" works ok, but it looks lke
COdeChrage can't get info
from your DB in design mode , tell me on what driver is your CC installed ,
is this drive C: or not?

Thanks for your response Alexey,

The program is installed on Drive C; and the data is installed on drive D.
However, I had setup another system (a seperate sever and workstation) with
every on C: and the same thing has happen. Test result says Okay... but it
still does not connect. I used the .1.01.101 and have yet to test it on
1.01.103. I am using a connection via ODBC to the database, I can not get
OLE DB to work.

Please download and install MDAC 2.6 from
http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_260rtm.htm
Please also create c:\temp directory if you don't have one.
