I'm receiving this error message when I try get into the Default.php page.

Database error: pconnect(24.13.242.114, root, $Password) failed.
MySQL Error: ()
Session halted.

I checked mysql, php, apache, and file to check for user and password, but
everything looks fine.
Do I have to use a special account to access this database. Im using the
portal example and transfered the tables using the "mysql portal <
Portal_MySql.sql" command.

Please help.

Possible tips:
- it looks like you specified an IP addres instead of the database name. You
may specify IP address for MyODBC connection, which is used during the
design time. However when you generate programs, you should specify the
database name (not the IP), login, password and type (MySQL) in the Database
Properties section of CodeCharge.
- you may manually create a small program that can verify your connection.
For example the problem may be with MySQL setup on your server. It is
possible to allow only certain IP addresses to connect to your database.

Is your database on your local (Windows) machine, or on a remote server ?
