Just some thoughts.

I'd really like to be able to take a form - particulary a menu form - and
"include" it onto several different pages - but not all of them, as the
header&footer are.

So I'm wondering whether you've considered either of the following:

1) Events that occur before and after all form types - I've found that the
"open" event happens after the form title, which isn't so good, so that we
can put conditional logic in to exclude the entire form.

2) Support for "global" forms that can be added to any page.

Agree - "global forms" would good, rather than recreating on each page.
