CC,

I have a few days left on the trial and would really like to get some
pages running for proof of concept in pushing for purchasing your
product. I am the only developer and need to get more and more database
items on our web site, which is a secure government site.

I am trying to use the JSP, and samples and run them internally at the
present time. They keep crashing with the following errors:

Internal Servlet Error:
javax.servlet.ServletException
Root cause:
java.lang.NullPointerException

Also, what format are the access databases in? I'm using Access97 and
can not open any of the databases, and when I setup the examples to run
them, I get an error of:
no suitable driver

I am working on a NT4.0 SP6 server, which is the test server and
intranet server for the department. I am running Netscape Enterprise 4.1
web server, with Tomcat a JSP1.1 compliant server.

If you have a good idea as to my problem, please advise. I really like
the product and wish to use this with PHP and MYSQL in Linux. Putting
out a working web database is a great selling point to the department
head.

Thanks for your assistance, less than 2 weeks left.

Hi Martin,

Are you generating "JSP & Templates" code ?
If so, please try this updated code generation module:
www.codecharge.com/download/files/patterns/JSP%201.1%20&%20Templates.ccp
(place it in "patterns" subfolder of CodeCharge)
If this doesn't help, please email your Tomcat configuration files to
support@codecharge.com
Also, please try generating "JSP" (without templates)

The examples that come with CodeCharge are based on MS Access 2000.

For PHP with MySQL, you will need MyODBC driver from www.mysql.com

Regards,

Adam
