I have MySQL installed on a FreeBSD machine and installed myODBC on my
Windows 2000 machine. When I create a new DSN all is well when I test the
connection - when I go to create a new page I can select a new Record Source
but primary key and fields are empty .. and hence I can't continue - is
there any special magik that should be done before embarking on my journy
with such an configuration?

Your configuration should work, but some of our users experienced similar
database connectivity problems, which were solved by installing MDAC 2.6
from http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_260rtm.htm
Please try it.
