I originally downloaded the trail version of CodeCharge, had no problem
connecting to my local PWS on Win2k using :

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers and connecting to my registered
system Access2000 DB.

All connected and I was able to insert a new record into my DB.

I purchased this product this afternoon, downloaded, installed the latest
version per my e-mail.

Did the exact same steps as in the trial version but now I receive
continually receive the following error:

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed
/ASPSearchTest/Common.asp, line 24

Page:
GET /ASPSearchTest/CompanyRecord.asp

I have tried several other Driver connections with same or similar results.

When I am ready to upload my application, I am on a IIS4 NT Server and have
a designated directory for my database.

I have tried everything to get past this error. Anyone know why I was able
to connect and use the insert application with the Trial version but can't
with the full version?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.....Hopefully I can keep my last few
remaining hairs ;)

Webber

I'm not sure why this would happen, but please try installing MDAC 2.6 from
http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_260rtm.htm and let me know if this
resolved your issue.

Thanks,

Adam S.

Being fairly new here, do you know if this error will prevent me from
accessing my DB on ISP?

Plz advise, Robin

It shouldn't affect your remote web server, since it looks like an error
related to the current machine.

Please also try MDAC 2.6 and see if it helps.
CodeCharge includes the latest JET drivers to be able to connect to the
examples included with it.

But actually, I'm also suspecting that the issue may be simpler - since the
new version of CodeCharge has additional options, it possibly requires a
setting/switch to be set in your project (.ccs) file.
If possible, please email your .ccs file and the generated common.asp to
