For some reason, I can't see the preview images anymore. All I can see
is the usual IE5 red "x". I did reinstall CodeCharge because the
"Repair" function kept asking for disks. That particular problem went
away after the second install but still no images. All folders and paths
are correct and the images are where they belong All the demo files are
in the right place and work. Any suggestions?

Check case sensitivity. Also if you're using frontpage and your sample has
an "images" directory, you might have to publish it to "images2" so that it
doesn't conflict with Frontpage's default "images" directory.

No, None of those are the problem, although it seems to be one of paths.
Images for my own work appear correctly in the preview screen, but none
of the images supplied by CodeCharge. All paths etc., are exactly as
downloaded from the CodeCharge site but the images do not show up in the
CodeCharge Preview screen. For example, when I preview the bookshop
header, all I see is the microsoft "No image found" boxes and a ruler
line. When I view my pages, I see everything.
I use DW4, Apache,mysql,PHP and CodeCharge.

Please:
a) Check if your option "Copy/Publish Files to the server" is checked in
CodeCharge Site Properties, Files tab
b) Right click on the missing image (red "x"), select properties and let us
know what you see in the "Address (URL)" field.

The problem is in the CodeCharge preview screen, not my browser.
Everything works as predicted as far as generating scripts is concerned,
but if I try to view one of your sample headers in CodeCharge I get the
missing images. Any files I create for myself work fine and I CAN view
the images in CodeCharge no problem.

my folders are exactly as you suggest: c:\program
files\codecharge\examples\whatever\images.

Thanks for your follow-up.

Okay, here's what I get by clicking on properties

About:blankimages/home.gif

When viewing pages created by myself I get:

File:///C|/apache/path to image.gif and all is well.

While I have your attention. Can I purchase CodeCharge in Australia? To
purchase it from you, it would cost close to AU$300. Our dollar is
currently below US$0.50

Thanks

John

Sorry for late reply. I just realized that your issue is actually a standard
way that we display template preview.
When you click on "Page Preview" button, we generate HTML templates in
memory and they are not referring to actual path on the harddrive, and
therefore do not point to actual images.
This probably may be changed and we'll look into this.

Well that's very interesting, because as I've said before, I do not have
that problem when viewing my own work. Anything you can do to take
pressure of memory resources would be a big plus. Because CodeCharge
doesn't have an HTML editor, I have to run something in the background.
My Celeron 300/64kb can become very sluggish as a result.

Thanks for your help.
