Can someone point me to a method within CC for....

Scenario:
Page with Search form and Grid form, name it PageOne .

Search params made, then refreshed grid appears.
Record selected from grid for Update/edit etc, goes to Page two for the
record UID.

When returning to PageOne, would like to have search params the same as when
I left the page, so I could pick another record from the filtered set -
without having to refill the search form to re-make the filtered set.

I have a "Clear Search" button which re-runs PageOne as 'clean'. What I'm
looking for is to somehow save the 'Search' query when going off to a record
page, then presenting PageOne via that query when PageOne is re-entered from
the record page.

Hope that's clear :-)

This product is getting big ticks here - making me look good.

Here's a method - seems to be OK - it may help other strugglers like me..

Topic : Retaining search params on exit and return to a page containing a
search form.

On the Search/Grid page

1. In the SEARCH form, Properties/Input, place the SAME fields as are in the
Search form itself.
Make the variable names as nonsense, they don't affect anything ( AFAIK)
Do not mark the fields Transfer.

2. No need to do anything to the GridForm Properties Input.

On the RecordPage Properties Input

3. In addition to the linking URL Input, add the same fields as are on the
grid page's SEARCH form.
Name the variables the same names as the variables in the Grid page's Grid
Form /Properties Input and mark them to Transfer.

THEN the process seems to work.
