Hello,

I use PHP 4.0 + templates with session-vars and codechjarge 1.1.16

my task is:
- Registration Form (No Security Level)
- after this the user should be logged in as registered and fill out
other forms (step by step), Security Level Low
my problem:
- after registration the user must first login
my question:
- how can i do an automatic login after registration (Insert-Operation
or Update-Registration for a earlier created session ID)?

That's odd.

I'm absolutely sure the registration form I created (copy of the
bookshop) logs on for you. Maybe you need to check the logic. Also, I'm
interested to know whether you can copy a module in one CC script and
transfer it to another? I tried but call across one of those walls.

Hello John,

in the bookshop registration seems not to be any magic code. When I use
it with PHP 4 + templates, it has the same problem: after registration i
must log in for using the shopping cart :-(

Regarding reusing script elements: I write only very small code
segments, something like
require_once('business_logic.php');
BusinessLogicFunctionXY($fldXY, ...);

Copy & paste is no solution for complex and probably changing business
logic modules. So I can edit it in my favourite editor and test the
logic from PHP-test-pages.

For copying script code I use CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

Did you mean that?

Carsten
