Hi there,

Any ideas what will be the new features to be added into Code Charge Version
2.0?? Any information to quench my thirst?

I am a happy Code Charge user.

Thanks.

There aren't much details confirmed yet but we plan to make it the most
exciting tool of this kind while increasing its usefulness in professional
web development.
CC 2.0 will look much different than 1.x and it will be fully integrated
with high-end HTML editors like Dreamweaver. Instead of selecting forms and
database fields on an empty screen, you will be able to drag-and-drop them
directly into an HTML editor and position on the page.
We also want to make it easy for users to customize the code, create and
exchange components, etc.
CC 2.0 should also be more suitable in multi-user environment.

If we are planning on using codecharge extensively, what html editor/s would
you recommend. Is Dreamweaver your tool. What about the next version of
Visual Studio. Where are you guys putting your most effort as it applys to
integration with 3rd party editors?

Thanks,
Kevin

Oh God! You have definitely peaked my interest. I'm already addicted to
CodeCharge. Tie it to DreamWeaver and I'll never be able to pull myself away
from my computer.

Anxiously awaiting Version 2;

CodeCharge would be far more exciting to me if it included better
documentation. Since nobody from your company replied to the thread about
documentation that I started, would you mind please detailing your intent
for improving the level of documentation? One would certainly hope that if
your intent is to make it easier for users to customize code that the
various variables, functions, events, and other information needed with be
provided. Currently, this is available only by study of the code generated
by CodeCharge, which isn't very efficient.

I'm also going to be very interested in your pricing for upgrades. I'm
certainly not going to pay for "price protection" if the upgrade price is
comparable. And if the upgrade price isn't comparable... well, I think
that needs some explanation too.

I've very impressed with CodeCharge, but two huge warning flags-- the level
of documentation and the ambiguity over pricing-- makes me worry. Maybe
others will excuse this as being common in the industry, but this is an
opportunity for your company to be *better* than the rest of the industry.
