 Multi database issue.

more of a question about if- this is possible.

Here is network layout.

some of data is stored on a mysql server. with say a unique record like an
account number. and some miss notes. but the main database is an informix
server. avail from odbc. (php I think has connections to informix sql
servers) however

can a page be rendered with two seperate database -servers feeding data to
one page. ?

Bob,
as you migth be well aware, the database settings within CodeCharge which
are located under the site properties component allow you to specify one
connection string for design time and another for the deployment server.
That said, you can see that if you wanted to populate a page with content
from two database servers, you would have to code the connection and query
functionality for at least one of the databases. Conceivably, you could
write global functions under the "Modules" component and use these in the
rest of the pages.
