I am making a design with Company and 4 checkbox choices.
In my grid, it shows as 1 or 0 (I can change to Y or N).
What should I use in BeforeShow Event to display a graphical checkmark for
all 1's and blanks for all 0's

You may not need to use events. Simply change your field type to CheckBox
instead of Label.
Just keep in mind that CodeCharge currently doesn't generate editable grids
and the user won't be able to change the value on such grid.
