Hello,

I want to send an email when a bug is inserted that has a link back to this
record.
When the user gets the email, I want a link embedded in the email that will
load bugtrack and display this record.

How can I do this?

Thanks

Frank

Hello again Frank,

If you crack open the support example with particular attention to the
admCaseResponse page and the way it works, this is EXACTLY what it does and
the way it does things. Hate to sound like a broken record but pay
particular attention to the After Insert event for the Response form which
does litterally EXACTLY what you are looking for... You can also see my
answer to your include question below that breaks out in detail the exact
functioning and usage of the mail() subroutine but doesn't cover embeded
links to applications... I'll generate a support ticket for you to look at
from the support system I've installed on one of my servers... I don't know
if you bought the regular or pro version since I seem to recall that the
support example is available to pro customers only... I'm sure
theCodeCharge folks can clear that up for you...

Scott...

Hello,

I purchased the pro version. I don't understand what example you are
referring to. I cannot find anything that resembles the example you are
quoting.

Where can I get it?

Thanks again...

Frank
