Version 1.2 Beta is now available.

IMPORTANT:
1. Once you open your previous project files (.ccs) using version 1.2, you
may not be able to open them again using previous versions.
Please backup all your projects, including original CodeCharge examples
before installing the new version.
2. Version 1.2 Beta works only with ASP & Templates.
If you are PHP user, you will need to wait until the final version 1.2 is
available.
3. This is an upgrade to previous CodeCharge versions 1.x, which must be
already installed and working on your computer.

You may download version 1.2 Beta upgrade from
http://www.codecharge.com/download/files/CodeChargePatch30.exe
Once you install it, you will see version 1.1.20 in the Help/About section,
which is OK.

Please submit any issues you find to our support system at
http://support.codecharge.com
NOTE: There are new options implemented in GUI for Grid Navigation. They do
not work yet in the generated code so please do not report this issue.

New Features include:
Additions and changes:
- Specify different Style for each Page or Form. Finally you will be able to
define table widths, colors, alignment, ect. that are different for each
form or page.
- Copy and Paste Forms between Pages. Another frequently requested feature.
- Specify custom initial value for drop-down menus (for example "All",
"Any", "Select Value Below", etc.)
- Specify the height of drop-down menus
- Specify GET or POST transfer method for outputing variables from Search
forms. This avoids long URLs created by the search function.
- Added "RadioList" as a new Field Type, which displays the group of radio
buttons instead of the listbox
- Customize <head> tag for generated HTML. May be different for each Page
- Resize the Properties Window for Forms and Pages
- Specify your own file extension when generating PHP or Perl
- Specify number of records (in Form Properties) to be shown in a grid
without selecting Page Scroller/Navigator. This is in case you like to list
X number
of rows, but don't want to show "Previous" and "Next" page links.
- Specify JOIN type in Grid froms, Field properies / Join section. This
allows to generate variations of SQL stataments, for example to be able to
display blank joint values in grids, or to achieve better Oracle
compatibility.
- Added "Before Cancel" Event
- Added "Auto-Save" option, allowing you to save the project when generating
code

Bug fixes:
- Specify, if the ListBoxes in the Search form is a required field. This
removes the word "All" from the listbox, just like it is currently possibly
on Record and Grid forms.
- Specify default value for ListBoxes
- Carry variables through the record form. This is an extended modification
to allow the user to return to the Grid with the same sort and search
options as he specified before entering the Record form
- Added a new HTML encoding function for ASP. It can be used instead of the
standard ASP HTMLEncode function to achieve better compatibility with
International characters.
- Other minor fixes

In progress:
- Enhanced Grid Scrolling/Navigating functionality
- Additional features may be enabled in the final version 1.2

Have fun!

Hi,
Is your dotNet support in the future going to include Visual Basic or will
you only be supporting C#?

Any features of dotNet included in the new beta that were not in the
original version?

Thanks,
Kevin
