This is what I got to work for American date format in Before Show of the
form:
<CFSET fldbirthday=Dateformat(fldbirthday, "mmmm dd, yyyy")>
formats 2001-11-26 00:00:00
to November 26, 2001
Perhaps something similar will work for you.
