Hello everyone. This is my first post, so I hope I'm not pulling a
"bonehead"... :)
Okay, here goes. I have a search form on a page. One of the fields I am
searching on, I have joined to another table, so that instead of viewing the
record ID, I am viewing some human readable information (managers and
end-users alike enjoy seeing words instead of numbers :). So far, CC does
everything I want it to, and even adds an "All" option to my drop down,
which I am certain is being stuffed with a % or equivalent wildcard
symbol...
The problem I am confronted with is I want a "None" option. If I try to
specify it manually via "Field properties", then "Link", then "List of
Values" (using something like "null;None;"), I get my "None" option, but it
nullifies my join. How can I get around this, short of modifying the final
output PHP script?
Much appreciated, and if this IS in the manual somewhere, please forgive me
and point me in the right direction. Thanks a million,
