Does anyone know how I can include automatically input the date when the
data is modified or added.

What language are you using? If you are using ASP/VBScript, you can use the
date() and now() functions to get the value of the current date and/or time.
flddate = date()
flddatetime = now()
If you are using PHP, there is a similar date() function which has a wide
range of options that you can specify to format the date. You can find
information about this function in the PHP documentation.
