Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ./header.php on
line 12
no matter whether i publish this as php/php+templates into a win2k/iis5
server or a win2k/apache server i get the following errors and a dead site,
it just seems to hate the calls in the header , has anyone else managed to
publish the gotocode website into a windows server enviroment.

Don i just looked again at this and see your running it using ASP , i can
run the asp version , what i asked is about the php/php+templates version.
Has ANYONE got this to run on a windows env with php.
or is it only valid code for an ASP site , because i cannot get round the
errors in the headers..

Are you generating PHP or PHP&Templates ?
GotoCode has some functionality specific to templated versions
(PHP&Templates and ASP&Templates).

I have tried to publish with both php and php+templates
I have two systems running , one is a std nusphere install of
apache/php4.05/mysql on a win2k pro system.
the othere is my install onto win2k server IIS5 php4.06/mysql both work
great the IIS one is running as php cgi and is very steady
but both refuse to run the gotocode site at all, they do not get past a part
rendition of the first screen because they fail in the header , if i comment
out line 12 it fails line 13 etc. it seems to just hate the calls in the
header no matter what i do,

loads of test scripts on them and currently testing and writing modules for
www.postnuke.net which is my test site. all works ok , but gotocode in php
doesnt

the only post back i had on this was from someone that installed it as asp,
i have it running as asp +templates, thats no prob , i havnt tried it as
perl or any
other system , its the php i was interested in..

Sorry for the confusion.
I found out that GotoCode project was created with a slightly modified PHP
pattern, which will be included in the next 2.0 release.
For now, please try modyfing the generated Header.php file by adding "global
$tpl;" after "{"
(before " // Header Open Event Start")
