When you display a page of records the seperator between the records is not
customisable at all with the Style editor,
the Auto-generated html code for the <!--BeginXxxxxxRecordSeparator--> is
taking its Values from the <DataTD> section of the Edit Styles dropdown on
the Styles page,
This is ok if you wish to have ( like this page ) white body bgcolor and
white <td> body colors , because the seperator will not stick out oddly
between records on a populated page, but, if you want a page that has a blue
body bgcolor and like this page a also white bgcolor on the <td>, you will
on publishing see a page that has blue bgcolor , but , that has datarecords
published that are seperated by white colspan=2 spacers , rather than
seperated by blue body color spacers.
the data seperator bgcolors border widths etc etc are totally non
customisable, they just follow blindly the <DataTD> settings..
I suggest there should be an extra option in the dropdown list in the Edit
Styles page, that this <SeperatorTD> should be customisable, as is almost
every other aspect of the Tables.
Please vote for this , I have pointed this out to support , and it is a
'missing link' in the customisable Styles, but it would help if people added
to the call for the feature to be added.
Support please add a new addition to the customisable dropdown listing for
the Styles , that for the "Separator" between any grid of records.
