Hi Everyone,
I'm developing together with other 2 programmers located in different
locations. At this point we have one .ccs file. I'll like to send &
receive pages as needed.
How is everyone doing this?, I see the import option but don't see and
export option.

I don't believe there is an export.. it would be their entire CCS file... or
a copy that they went in and deleted the unwanted pages...

Correct sir.
As far as I know, you can only import a .ccs file - in it's entirety.
The problem you'll run into is that only one person can work on the file at
any given time, and then you have to get theirs, and replace yours... Big
pain.
If you already have everyone's tasks figured out, have everyone create their
own .ccs file, and import those periodically, or at project completion. The
only catch here, is you lose (or at least you used to lose) any links
assigned via "form" dropdown in properties.
I suppose you could use something that would merge all the changes, like
CVS....
Good luck!

Page export functionality is not needed because once you select "Import",
you can select pages that you like to import from another .ccs file.
However, we do sometimes split work by module, for example one person can
work on .ccs for Administration, another for the User frontend.

Damn Adam. You're right about the import thing, of course...
Even if you select the different pages to import, is the problem with losing
links still present?

I Adam,
I just tested the import and it works great but ... It would be much better
if you could "overwrite" and existing procedure. When I imported an
existing page it created another page with the same name.

Well, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing :)
I guess this would require an option, which we will consider adding. For
now, you may need to manually delete previous page before or after importing
new one.

The problem with lost links occures because we do not use page names, but
rather page pointers, which is similar to user_id instead of user_name.
That way when you work with CC and change page name, you don't loose all
other links pointing to that page.
But as you see, this reflects negatively on the import routine. We'll look
closer into this issue.

Exactly what I thought... It's the method that makes most sense. It's just a
minor pain when working on large projects... :)

As you know already, importing causes a problem with links. When importing,
a prompt asking to "overwrite or append" will be great when pages have the
same name. And somehow keep the links.
This could enhance CC when it comes to multiple developers.
