If version 2.0 isn't completely finished, how about an option to allow
a path for an INC type file which would contain the user/pw db info for
combination (include/require) into common.php allowing the user to place that
data away from the document root. Just an idea.

YES YES!! PLEASE DO!! I've already requested this feature on gotocode.com but
it never got approved for some reason.
