Using Codecharge 2.05 ASP 2.0 with Templates

I have a page with a grid that links to a record page every thing works ok
for inserting, updating and deleting records.
If I pass parameters from the grid page and check the transfer box on the
record page they should be passed back to the grid page after an update. The
parameters are being passed back empty i.e. ?xYear=&xMonth=&

Is this a fault? or am I missing something simple.
