We were having problems with fields for some of our tables and queries not
displaying in "Add Page" or "Add Page Wizard". CodeCharge Support suggested
that we download and reinstall Microsoft's Jet 4.0. To no avail, as
suspected, that suggestion didn't work. After looking into the issue
further, our IT department realized that the problem was in CodeCharge 2.05
ability, or in this case, inability to read/recognize table or query names
in a particular format in Access 2002. If you have a table or query name
that is, in some manner, separated by a space (ie. Alabama Orders), "Add
Page or "Add Page Wizard" will not recognize that name and therefore will
not display the fields. In essence, you will receive a "Database Connection
Error" in the bottom left of the screen. If you delete the "space" and in
its place put an "underscore" (ie. Alabama_Orders) it will work perfectly.
We didn't test in on Access 2000 but we are certain that the results will be
the same. Hope this is helpful. Keep up the good work CodeCharge. Excellent
product.
