I'm assuming they are against it...
and probably (and this is just a hunch) change their software when new
cracks come out so that those new cracks don't work.
(Trust me, as a software developer who's had their software cracked, I
personally found it quite humerous, then immediatly pulled the old download,
re-compiled with a few new tricks, and posted it again).

Yeah,
I had developed some absolutley brilliant software that ensured world
piece.
I found out a crack was witten for it and pulled my software off the
market,
recoded my security, now noone can use it. Not even me.
