Hi all,

Ok, Ok. You got me.

After endless hours of researchig CCS I've decided to return to CC2 to
return to my productivity.

I see now that CC2 isn't so bad in comparison.

Still CC2 is NOT intuative, but it does have quite a number of tutorials and
heaps of NewsGroup support.

I'm in the process of enhancing the BugTracking project from CC2.

I've added heaps of well used fields and feel like I'm producing again.

I've been trying to use the current User_ID to default a field
bug_entered_by.
And simply could NOT sort it out.

Finally, a co-worker who has been using CC2 for 8 weeks, helped to sort
this out, with quite some difficulty.
I've attempted to document it with screen snap shots only, for now.

I'd also like to be able to default bug_entered_date to date() by using CC2
field properties if I can.
Else I could delve into the events using code. (yuck!)

Has anyone or Is anyone interested in developing a really nice bug tracking
project?
My plan is to share it with CC2 developers and users.
Perhaps using it as a base for gaining experience with CC2.

Anyway, I'm back,
Barry G. Sumpter

Well, duh!
Field Properties | default value | =Date()
CodeCharge even displays a help text at the bottom of the dialog
containing this hint.
Doh!

Ok,. I'm really starting to get some functionality in my HelpDesk app.

Everything I want to do has already been asked and answered.

Very cool!

Yeah, well Its too bad I can't get more than a few of the additional
functions to work together.
I swore I wouldn't go down the scripting path.
But got sucked in anyway.
To my grevious dissapointment.
