 Problem with greek characters

to take a look at the problem.

The greek characters are displayed on my machine (IIS 5.0) but not on the
web server hosting the above URL address (IIS 4.0).

Looks like that depends on your database platform since
other greek data is displayed ok. What is your database type ?

alex,

the greek is that an encoding problem ??
if i open the xml doc from the translation folder all go good, except the
greek one! (on a 'std' win2000 sys)

How do you open greek.xml ?
What program do you use ?

hi alex,

maybe just a silly remark from me; but when i read about greek i
remembered that a few days back i was looking at what was in all those
folders. In the translation folder i double clicked the xml document
after which it opens in internet explorer. all opens correct, except the
greek one.

probably i don't have all encodings installed. have to check. but probably
need install cd from w2k which lies in safe.

but i presume that the problem must be somewhere in this direction.
