Hi all,

I've just copied the production database to my development folder.

And pointed my .ccs development database to my
(just copied from production) development database on the development
folder.

I'm getting this message when I attempt to update a record in any table:

Operation must use an updateable query. (Microsoft JET Database
Engine)

Production is still working properly.

It's just this development environment.

Any one know what is causing this?

If not, then any suggestions?

Thanks,

Barry G. Sumpter

Hi Barry,
You need to check the rites that the internet user has. It needs write
access to that sub-directory so it can create the LDB file for access.
Also, make sure the database has read/write privileges as well.

Hope this helps.

Chris
