Hi,

I have two grids on a page. The first is a list of customers, the second
their address. By clicking on the customer name , the second grid displays
the appropriate address. All is fine. If I sort the first grid by any
column though, the sort order isn't passed into the link so that when you
click it, it reverts to the original order. I have selected Add Transit
Parameters and even tried putting the sort variables as input parameters to
the first grid so that they would be transferred on (this caused an error
and double sorting parameters). Am I missing something here? How do sort
variables get included into URL links?

Hi Darren,

Have a look at www.gotocode.com in the tips and tricks section.

Darren, try appending your parameters in the 1st (sending grid) to the CC
variable sParam, they sshould show up in the staus bar when you hover over
the sort link
This link has a very good and simple explanation
http://www.gotocode.com/art.asp?art_id=125&
Hope this helps
Dave
