Hi,

I know there is a simple solution to this but I've spent the last 5 hours
trying to do it with only limited success.

I have two tables a table called articlecategories with ID, category
fields in it and a table called articles with ID, title, article, category

All I want to do is

1. Retrieve all catagories within the articlecategories table, loop through
each category in the articlecategories table in turn and retrieve and
display related articles from the articles table so I can display them as
follows.

category1
title, article
title, article

category2
title, article
title, article
title, article

I'm using PHP4 and Mysql with templates any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you

Angelo

Please refer to these articles , they use solutions that will help you
to break up grids the way you want.

Thanks alex, I did look through the report grid article before asking for
help, it wasn't the same kind of thing I was attempting to achieve however
the quiz one showed the type of routines I needed it's just not where I
would have expected to find them!
