I have chosen Perl5.0 with Templates, when I attempt to execute the page it
reports that the pagename_inc is not found ?
If I choose Perl5.0 everything works ? Why are the include pages not being
generated ?

How did you make sure that the file was not generated ?
Did you look into target directory ?

Yes,

I had a form called logon (not very creative I'll admit).

What I was doing was changing (using the properties dialog ) the various
generation languages. The resulting file for "Perl & Templates" kept
generating a file with an include statement "use logon_inc" which of course
did not exist.

I have subsequently closed CC reopened, change the generation lang to PHP,
changed back to Perl & Templates and now it generates a working file ??

I have a fairly large application that was originally developed use ASP via
CC and I needed to move to an alternate lang for portability reasons ( I
wish I could have done this in the begining.....) anyway I was trying to
choose between PHP and Perl. Since a ran into this problem I ended up on
PHP. Probably a better choice anyway. It's hard to say which is better
anyway.

From a CC / CC Studio perspective which do 'you' support the most,
preferences ? Since I'm having to convert I may as well choose the
'preferred'
