Hi everyone,

First, please forgive me if this exists somewhere else - I actually did
look, but couldn't really find anything....

Using CC 2.0.5, Postgresql 7.2, PHP 4.1.2 and Apache 1.3.20.

I have a page with some custom SQL in one of the forms (Form properties, SQL
tab, Use SQL string). This works great.

Now in the returned grid, I get back everything I want, but I wish to
perform a join on some of the elements listed there, so I go to the Field
properties, to the Join tab, and setup my join as I have a million times
before. However, when I view the compiled page, it doesn't actually perform
the join, and returns the correct (but visually useless) primary key
value... If I remove the custom SQL, the join works fine.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this a limitation, or is there another way of
going about this?

Thanks a million.

Make sure your SQL is something like this
Select fieldkey,fielddisplay value from sometable
