In the deafultpage I want a grid with 3 fields, of which 1 is hidden
(content_ID). The other two are labels that show a text description of some
sort and are joined (so refer to a number in column 'group_id' of table
'content' and the text belonging to that number can be found in the table
'group')
But whatever I try I keep on getting an error message that say 'Data types
in expression don't fit'' Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
(actually in dutch: Typen in expressie komen niet overeen.).
I've compared it with other examples, but I can't resolve the problem
What do I do wrong?
Or: which steps are abolutely necessary to make this work?

Its possible your data types (in the database) are things that are fixed,
i.e. date, or money, etc. which can be a problem because an entry might not
match the type of data you have set in the database.

I suppose there's a type mismatch
between content_ID and group_id?!

Ah! I found the solution of the data type mismatch! I thought that I had to
set it to text (because thats the content of the 'joined' table), but I had
to set it to Number because a number (Group_id) is what is 'linking' the two
tables.
So I do not see any error messages now. But there still is a problem: I see
empty places in my table of my .asp page on fields where tables are joined.
So what now? I cannot see any difference with similar setups like in the
Taskman example...
I use Windows2000, IIS5 and Access2002, is that something to look at (does
it influence database settings in CC for instance?)
