Setting the Validate Request option for a page to "false" does not appear in the generated code of the page. Seems to be a Bug!

This feature is needed when an RTF editor is used on the page.

A manually updated code is further on excluded from code generation. The page is marked with an asterix.

Is there a workaround??

This probably doesn't work with .NET Framework 1.0.
Try selecting .NET Framework 1.1 in Project properties: click on your project name in Project Explorer window, then in the Properties window select 1.1 for the "Target Version" property.
