Hi all,
i've just tried to use the file upload component and I'm using Persits version of it, but when I try to upload a file I get a permissions error.
It gives the following:
"An error occured when uploading file specified in FileUpload1. Error description: Microsoft VBScript runtime error, Permission denied"
Could you please advise as I am very new to ASP programming?

You specified a folder for which the webserver does not have write
permissions. IIS uses a "funny" userid like "IUSR_xxxx" (where "xxxx" is
the name of your computer). Just grant that account read+write permission
and you'll get rid of the error.
