Hi Everyone,
How do you approach a potential customer to persuade them to convert their existing database applications on the web? I always thought it was convenience of having your files accessible from any location, the ability to have more than one user editing or viewing data, the multi security levels, etc.
But what about GoToMyPC or other remote access applications? Many of these services promise the same thing, i.e. the ability to access your data from any location, more than one user, different logins. Why go through all the trouble and expense of converting a database to the web when a small to medium sized company can set up one of the remote access services. Some of these services are free?
