I'm a newbie to CodeCharge Studio 2.2. I've downloaded the 20-day trial version, and I'm currently going through the tutorial. My problem at this point is that I can't get the "Hello World" web page to display when I click on "live page" to test the HelloWorld tutorial project. Instead, I get a web page that states, "Action canceled" or "The page cannot be displayed". I'm using the default Location (Local/Network), Server Path (C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\HelloWorld) and Server URL (http://localhost/HelloWorld) provided by the tutorial.
Can someone help me make the proper link? At this point in time, I don't have a website to publish to. But I would like to be able to test my web pages on my local machine as though I had a real website.
Thanks - Ron

Hi,
Let's start with couple questions:
1. Which Windows version are you using?
2. Could you type http://localhost in your browser and tell us what do you see.

Thanks for your help. I'm using the latest version of Windows XP with all updates installed. I'm also using PHP as my language selecton in the tutorials. When I type http://localhost in my browser I get, "The page cannot be displayed".
Thanks - Ron L

I discovered my "live page" problem. I had to install IIS. But I still couldn't get a live page was because I had Norton Internet Security installed. Even after I disabled it, I still couldn't get a live page. I had uninstall Norton before CodeCharge would give me a live page.
In addition, I had to switch to ASP language because PHP language would return the program code to my browser page rather than the "Hello World". I presume this is because I don't have PHP installed. I'm I correct? If so, will you please tell me where I can download PHP?

Looks better already
You didn't need to uninstall Norton Antivirus, but you should turn-off "Script Blocking" and then restart your computer. Should not be a problem if you install NAV back.
You can download PHP from http://www.php.net/downloads.php
