all the Sample where done using pure ASP on IIS Server
TIme to Create 1,000 Records 11sec (INSERT)
Time to Create 50,000 Records 7min
Total Record Created 1Million records and working OK
Data Structure
ID Numeric Primary Key
CCMemo Memo File
Numero Text file
every register havea memo of long about 1kbytes (1000 letters)
the final file have around 989,456,602byte (huge)
The must Impresed part was after creating the file with 1 million records i did a small search for a none Index field
Select * from Prueba where numero = 'ABCD'"
the time ASP/MDB took to get that Record was 0.285sec
! Very impresed !
Note: i'm not inclined to any speceific Database or Langauge, people should use the one they find is easy.
but the beauty of MDB / Access is that the file are easy handled
its just 1 file.
Dont be afraid to use MDB / Access
Note: i stoped at 1million records cause i was leaving to my home!
